"Chefs’ Night Out on the Farm," set for 5 p.m. Saturday, July 1 in Sherman, is an exclusive dining event featuring six top chefs from Austin, Toronto, NYC and the Hudson Valley (including repeat winner of the popular Food Channel cooking competition show "Chopped.").
Guests will be treated to a six-course tasting menu done in an open kitchen setting. Chefs include:
- Rich Parente, from Clocktower Grill in Brewster and ClockTower Farm in Sherman (and host)
- Shawn Burnette, Heritage Food + Drink, coming soon to Wappingers Falls.
- Emily Chapman, Pasquale Jones and "Chopped" champion, NYC
- Ned Elliot, Foreign & Domestic and founder of Indie Chefs Week, Austin, TX
- Nate Middleton, Home of the Brave, Toronto
- David Santos, Good Stock & Nashville Hot Chicken Pop Ups, NYC
“I asked some of my friends, who happen to be incredible chefs from New York City, Austin, Toronto and the Hudson Valley, to spend some time on the farm," said Parente.
"This is a great chance for people to meet this generation of culinary masterminds and taste what they’ve got to offer."
The meal, which costs $125 per person, starts at 5 p.m. at Clocktower Farm, 126 Route 39 North in Sherman. Beer and wine are included in the fare.
