Meet A 'Chopped' Chef At Farm-To-Table Event In Sherman

SHERMAN, Conn. --  A "Chopped" champion and other superstar chefs from across North America will be in town, literally down on the farm, for a collaborative tasting dinner.

"Chefs’ Night Out on the Farm," set for 5 p.m. Saturday, July 1 in Sherman, is an exclusive dining event featuring six top chefs from Austin, Toronto, NYC and the Hudson Valley (including repeat winner of the popular Food Channel cooking competition show "Chopped.").

Guests will be treated to a six-course tasting menu done in an open kitchen setting. Chefs include:

“I asked some of my friends, who happen to be incredible chefs from New York City, Austin, Toronto and the Hudson Valley, to spend some time on the farm," said Parente. 

"This is a great chance for people to meet this generation of culinary masterminds and taste what they’ve got to offer."

The meal, which costs $125 per person, starts at 5 p.m. at  Clocktower Farm, 126 Route 39 North in Sherman. Beer and wine are included in the fare.
